There are many options for enrolling one or more contacts in a cadence in TinyCadence. This page will go over all options that exist. In order to enroll any contacts in a cadence, navigate to your cadences page, select a cadence, and click the green "Enroll" button that appears towards the top right of the screen.
The simplest way to enroll a contact in a cadence is one at a time using their email address.
This is a great way to test your cadence: you can enter your own email address and name.
If you enter a name for the contact. The name is treated as the "full name" and the "first name" and "last name" properties for a contact are created based on the full name that is entered.
Additionally, you can choose to schedule the enrollment for a later time. This is useful if you want to start emailing somebody at the start of the next week or day.
You also have the option to enroll multiple contacts at once by uploading a CSV of contacts. Similar to uploading a CSV to create a contact list, your CSV must have an "email" column. If your CSV is invalid, the website will tell you before you can "Confirm" that you would like to enroll all contacts in the CSV into the cadence.
Additionally, you can create a contact list from the CSV you upload. If you check the box to create a contact list, you can view the newly created list in the contact lists page in TinyCadence. You will also have the option to create a custom name for the list. If you do not supply a name but have the box checked, the contact list will be named automatically.
Because every contact in the CSV is enrolled, it may take up to 2 minutes to load after you click "Confirm"- especially if you have a large CSV (for example, over 500 contacts).
We recommend limiting the size of your CSVs to 500 or fewer rows.
If you have connected your HubSpot account (you can do this in your integration settings page), you will also have the option to enroll all contacts in a HubSpot list.
If you choose this option, all contacts in the list will be enrolled in the cadence. New contacts that enter your HubSpot list will not be enrolled into the cadence using this option. In order to continuously enroll newly added contacts in a HubSpot list into a TinyCadence cadence, you should use the "Cadence enrollment options" in the cadence settings instead.
You also have the option to enroll all contacts at one time that are in a contact list. This is helpful if you have a contact list that you created from a previous enrollment via CSV or if you created a contact list from the contact lists page.
When you choose the contact list and click "Confirm", all contacts will be immediately enrolled in the cadence. This will send emails (if that is one of the steps in the cadence) to all contacts in the list.
